A local sensation in my town, tens of thousands of tulips were planted on Fargo Blvd. by a resident beginning in the early 2000's. Like so many others, I pulled up in front with camera in hand, and took a series of reference photos to paint from. My pastel painting (or drawing as many think of pastels) is on archival paper. It is sold framed in a 21.75" x 17.75" plein air frame under museum glass.
